Ann M. Putt "Loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother"
Olean, NY Ann M. Putt of 1216 Washington St. passed away peacefully Sunday (August 17, 2014) at her home, surrounded by her loving daughters.
Born June 20, 1933 in Olean she was the daughter of Stanley and Julia Gawronski Kolasinski. In 1956 in she married Kenneth L. Putt, Sr. who passed away November 9, 2013.
Ann attended Olean High School and had resided in Olean all of her life. She had been employed by the former Loblaw's Grocery Store from 1952 until 1972. She later worked in the cafeteria for both St. Mary of the Angel's and St. John's Parochial Schools. She was a member of St. Mary of the Angels Church and its Altar and Rosary Society.
Surviving are four daughters Cynthia (Dennis) Hettrick of Olean, Cheryl (Jonathan) Velott of Blasdell, Denise (Ronald) Moore of Indianapolis, IN and Kimberly (Leonard) Hellebuyck of Clarksburg, MD; nine grandchildren Michael Hettrick, Thomas (Carrie) Filjones, Stephen (Amber) Filjones, Brian (Jessica) Filjones, Angela (Justin) Todoroff, Benjamin Moore, Samuel Moore, Griffin Hellebuyck and Logan Hellebuyck; four great granddaughters Avalee, Cora, Kellie and Juliet; one sister Theresa (Walter) Brol of Allegany and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband she was predeceased by a son Kenneth L. Putt, Jr. on January 9, 1974; a grandson Christopher Hettrick in 1999; five sisters Viola Bush, Sophie White, Mary Gunns, Elizabeth Shick and Julia Gordon and five brothers Stanley Kolasinski, John Kolasinski, Lucas Kolasinski, Theodore Kolasinski and Louis Kolasinski.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean where a prayer service will be held Thursday (August 21, 2014) at 9:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00am at St. Mary of the Angels Church. Rev. David Tourville will be the principal celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
