Olean- June Liberatore formerly of 401 Alder Court passed away Thursday (April 17, 2014) at the Pines Health and Rehabilitation Center after a lengthy illness.
Born June 22, 1935 in Centerville, NY she was the daughter of William E. and Geraldine Kinney Crane. In 1950, she married Ralph Liberatore who survives.
She was a member of Southside Union Chapel and enjoyed baking, sewing, knitting and reading.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her six children Phillip (Diane) Liberatore of Salamanca, Edward Liberatore of Olean, Anthony Liberatore of Oregon, Rosemary (Darryl) Whitcomb of Lockport, Diane (John) Geruso of Syracuse, Joann Liberatore of Florida; one sister Mable Smith of New Hampshire; 26 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Road, Olean today from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday (April 19, 2014) at 10am at the Hillside Wesleyan Church in Olean. Rev. Rick Long will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. View Cemetery.
