Obituary of Emil Chizewick

Allegany- Emil J. Chizewick, Jr., passed away Monday (April 7, 2014) at his home after a brief illness.
Born November 16, 1949 in Olean, he was the son of the late Emil and Patricia Baldwin Chizewick, Sr.
Mr. Chizewick was a graduate of Allegany Central School. He served with the United States Army from 1971-1977. For forty-two years he was employed at Dresser Rand in Olean.
He was a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and he enjoyed watching NASCAR, the Pittsburgh Pirates and going for walks.
Surviving are one daughter Emily Sue Case from Allegany; two grandchildren Mason Case and Chase Hannon; one sister Kathleen (Gregory) Stomierosky of Hickory, NC; one brother Kenneth (Velma) Chizewick of Eldred, PA; two nieces Paula Metcalf and Cindy Hudson, two nephews Kenneth Jr. and Zachary Chizewick; one great niece Haley Hudson and two great nephews Tyler and Nicholas Hudson.
Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Wednesday from 4-7pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday (April 10, 2014) at 10am at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Allegany Fire Department or to HomeCare and Hospice, 1225 W. State Street, Olean NY 14760.
