Obituary of Donna Bloise

Donna Marie Bloise Allegany, NY Donna Marie Bloise, 61, of 37 N. 3rd St. passed away Thursday (February 27, 2014) at the Olean General Hospital after a long battle with diabetes. Born March 27, 1951 in Olean she was the daughter of Dominic and Margaret "Peg" Norton Bloise. Donna was a 1970 graduate of Allegany Central School where she was a member of the color guard with the marching band. She worked at St. Bonaventure University and finished with working in the BOCES school system as an aid. She loved working with the children but was forced to quit due to her illness. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her young nieces and nephews. She also loved keeping in touch with her friends, playing games on her computer and playing cards and bingo. She loved her cat Muffin. Surviving in addition to her mother of Allegany are a sister, Belinda (Lynn) Sherwood of Allegany; her very special people Bob and Holly Fischer and Frank and Cindy DeFiore, aunts, uncles and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many great friends. She was predeceased by her father and a sister Patricia Champlin. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home 3128 West State Rd. Olean on Monday from 5-7pm . A funeral service will begin at 7pm in the funeral home. Rev. James Vacco, OFM, pastor of St. Bonaventure Church, will officiate. Burial will be on Tuesday in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
