Obituary of Stanley Bush

Stanley E. Bush Allegany, NY Stanley E. Bush of 4137 Five Mile Rd. passed away Thursday (August 29, 2013) at the Olean General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born February 6, 1924 in Olean he was the son of Martin and Monica Giermack Bush. On November 10, 1944 in Transfiguration Church in Olean he married Gladys M. Pierce who survives. Mr. Bush was a former employee of Olean Tile Co. for twelve years and in 1953 began employment for Cooper Industries where he retired as a foreman after thirty five years. He was good at construction work and built many houses in the area during the years. He was a member of the Creekside Chapel in Allegany and enjoyed hunting for relaxation as well as small scale farming. Surviving besides his wife are a daughter Joyce (Robert) Kibler of Allegany; four grandchildren R. Tim Bush, Michelle (Scott) Rickicki, Kelly (Douglas) Patrone and Shanna (Allan) Dunlap; ten great grandchildren; one brother John (Gloria) Bush of Olean and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son Ronald E. Bush on November 4, 1996; two brothers Paul Bush and Walter Bush and one sister Sophie France. A visitation will be held at the Creekside Chapel in Allegany on Saturday (August 31, 2013) from 11-1pm at which time funeral and committal services will be held. Pastor Adam Stein will officiate.
