Obituary of Molly Howard

Allegany, NY Molly L. Howard of 4130 Route 417, recently of Eden Heights, passed away Saturday (June 22, 2013) in the Olean General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Born December 25, 1933 in Olean she was the daughter of Charles E. and Sophie J. Kolasinski White. On August 5, 1953 in Olean she married William C. Howard, Sr. who predeceased her July 22, 2006.
Mrs. Howard attended school in both Hinsdale and Olean and graduated from Olean High School. She had been employed by the former Kresge's Department Store, the Loblaws Store and the Olean Tile Plant. She retired from AVX in Olean in 1996.
She had attended St. Bonaventure Church in Allegany for many years and was a member of the Allegany American Legion Auxiliary. She was always an avid bowler and enjoyed playing cards and going to bingo. Her passion was being a mom and grandma to her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters Debra (Ed Mergler) Wilday of Allegany and Linda (Stephen Brocious) Howard of Olean; two sons William C. (Mari) Howard, Jr. of Olean and Robert P. Howard of Harmony, NC; ten grandchildren Kristen Wilday, Daniel Wilday, Jamie Wilday, Amanda Howard, Kirk Howard, Kelby Howard, Cameron Howard, Payton Howard, Nicholas Howard and Zachary Howard; two brothers Charles (Barbara) White of Kennewick, WA and Robert (Sandy) White of Wapato, WA and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband she was predeceased by a grandson Kyle Howard and two sisters Mary Farrington and Sally Bucassis.
Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Tuesday from 5-8pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday (June 26, 2013) beginning with a prayer service at 9:30am in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary of the Angels Church at 10am. Rev. Gregory Dobson, pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
