Obituary of Dennis Grenville

Dennis W. Grenville Allegany, NY Dennis W. Grenville of 3617 Five Mile Rd. passed away Thursday (April 18, 2013) at the Olean General Hospital after a short illness. Born January 16, 1948 in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of Thomas and Eliza Belisle Grenville. Dennis was raised in Niagara Falls until the age of ten at which time he and his family moved to West Seneca. He came to the Olean area in the mid 1970's and enjoyed his employment at SubCon Industries for many years. Prior to moving to his Five Mile Road residence he was blessed with fifteen years of living in a loving home provided by John and Linore Lounsbury. He attended and was an usher at the Cornerstone Full Gospel Church in Olean. He loved watching professional wrestling and collecting memorabilia. He also was a Buffalo Sabres fan and he enjoyed eating banana splits. He most enjoyed spending time at his sister's farm and playing with his nieces and nephews. Surviving are five brothers and sisters Lorraine M. Welsh of West Clarksville, Madeline Reece and Ernest (Carol) Grenville, both of Youngstown, Ted (Kay) Grenville of Cape Canaveral, FL and Sandra M. Grenville of Olean and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother Thomas Grenville. There will be no prior visitation. A memorial service will be held Monday (May 6, 2013) at 11:00am at SubCon Industries reception area. Family and friends are invited to attend..
