Obituary of Diane Youngman

Diane M. LaFaye Youngman Delevan, NY Diane M. LaFaye Youngman, 60, of 34 Pioneer Lane passed away peacefully Wednesday (April 3, 2013) in the loving care of her family and close friend Dawn Morgan. Born December 23, 1952 in Brooklyn she was the daughter of Gordon LaFaye and Dorothy Sokalowski Mondell. Diane was raised in Brooklyn near Coney Island until sixteen years of age and attended parochial school there. She later resided in Avoca and for the past thirty four years had lived in the Franklinville area. She was a homemaker and she enjoyed cooking and baking for others and being a loving grandmother. Surviving are five children Angie LaBarron and Terri Loomis, both of Franklinville, Sheri LaBarron of Albion, Dennis Kelley of Farmersville and Irene Youngman of Albion; twelve grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one stepson Allan (Jeanette) Kelley of Farmersville; seven brothers and sisters Chester Chikopa of Susanville, CA, Marie Simms of Euclid, OH, Gordon LaFaye of Allegany, Cecelia (Louie) Parsons of Dansville, Michelle (Wendell) Faucette of Bath, David LaFaye of Mentor, OH and Robert LaFaye of Sarasota, FL and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter Amber Lee Kelley on August 28, 1987, a sister Ginger LaFaye and her longtime love and companion Allan Kelley, Sr. on May 30, 2012. At Diane's request, there will be no visitation or funeral. Her life will be celebrated by family and friends at a later date with the sharing of memories at a casual barbeque.
