Jane Frances Hubbard Olean, NY-- Jane Frances Hubbard of 742 Grandview Avenue died Sunday (February 2, 2003) in the Olean General Hospital after a brief illness. Born November 18, 1915 in Seneca Falls, NY she was the daughter of Paul and Anna Reel Megivern. On August 30, 1941 in Smethport, Pa. she married John K. Hubbard, Sr. who survives. Mrs. Hubbard had resided in Smethport, Pa. most of her life and had lived in Olean for the past 25 years. She was a member of St. John's Roman Catholic Church and the Bartlett Country Club. Surviving besides her husband of 61 years are 1 daughter Sheila Hubbard Hendrick of Santa Cruz, Ca.; 1 son John K. Hubbard, Jr. of Maiden, NC; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; 1 brother Charles (Bea) Megivern of Smethport, Pa. and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a granddaughter and a brother. There will be no visitation. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass to be held Wednesday (February 5, 2003) at 11:00am in St. John's Church. Msgr William Wangler, pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangments are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean.
