Obituary of Steven Anderson

Olean- Steven J. Anderson of 350 Front Street, died Monday (December 31, 2012) at the Olean General Hospital, after a long illness.
Born August 24, 1944 in Fort Dodge Iowa, he was the son of Melvin G. and Florence Wood Anderson.
On March 20, 1981 in Allegany, he married Ellen Twitchell, who survives.
Mr. Anderson worked at St. Stephens Club and was a self employed contractor for many years. He was a honorary member of the St. Stephens Club in Olean. He enjoyed fishing and playing cards.
Surviving besides his wife are two sons Arlo Anderson and Scott Anderson; two step-sons James Childs and Scott Childs; eight grandchildren; one brother Larry (Twila) Anderson of Palm Coast FL; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one son Danny Anderson; two brothers Billy Anderson and Randy Anderson; and one sister Jean (Victor) Ozogar.
Private funeral services will be held at the Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
