Obituary of Michael Stephan

Michael Stephan, Sr. Allegany, NY Michael Stephan, Sr. of 4115 S. Nine Mile Road passed away Saturday (October 20, 2012) in the comfort of his home, with his loving family at his side. Born April 17, 1953 in Albuquerque, NM he was the son of Richard and Esther Eisenmann Stephan. On May 24, 2008 in a rustic setting on Lippert Hollow Road in Allegany he married Peggy Dieteman who survives. Mr. Stephan lived in Allegany most of his life and first worked at the former Acme Electric in Allegany. He was then employed by the former Erie Builder's, later ABC Supply Co. in Olean. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed trap shooting and he was especially skilled at taxidermy where his passion was with whitetail deer. Surviving besides his wife are his mother of Allegany; three sons Billy (Missy) Stephan of Minerva, OH, Michael W. (Lisa) Stephan, Jr. of Kill Buck, Daniel Stephan of Salamanca; one stepson Bob Dieteman of Salamanca; four grandchildren Shelby, Daltyn, Alexandra and Joel; three brothers Alan (Linda) Stephan of Arizona, Bruce (Mary) Stephan of Olean and Perry (Julie) Stephan of Allegany and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service to be held Thursday (October 25, 2012) at 1:00pm at Creekside Chapel, Five Mile Rd in Allegany. Rev. Adam Stein, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the American Cancer Society.
