Obituary of Caryl Winship

Olean- Caryl L. Winship of 111 ½ North 12th Street, died Sunday August 26, 2012 at the Absolut of Salamanca.
Born December 28, 1940 in Olean he was the son of George and Marie Chapel Winship. He first married Sarah Corson of Leon NY on December 9th, 1972. He later married Gail Ann Gerhard in Santa Ana, CA; who survives.
Mr. Winship attended Olean High School and worked at Perkin's Restaurant in Olean for many years.
Besides his wife he is survived by 2 sons Christopher A. Winship of Olean, Harold Corson of Leon, NY; 2 brothers Mark Winship of Allegany, Roger Winship of Ogden, NY; 1 sister Roberta Hall of Nottingham,PA; 3 beautiful grandchildren Verrssai, Blayne and Trinity; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his first wife, his parents, one brother and one sister.
Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home on Wednesday (August 29, 2012) from 10-11am at which time funeral services will begin. Rev. Glenn Treaster will officiate.
Memorials if desired may be made to the Warming House, 164 N. Union Street, Olean.
