Michael L. Giardini Limestone, NY-- Michael L. Giardini of 560 W. Main St. died Saturday (April 28, 2012) in the Olean General Hospital. Born July 2, 1950 in Olean he was the son of John and Marion Thomas Giardini. Michael was employed years ago for the former Geary's Furniture Store in Allegany and more recently as a sales associate for Wal-Mart until his retirement in 2006. He enjoyed drawing, puzzles and taking walks. Surviving are one daughter Sonya Giardini of Franklinville; three sisters Margie (John) Hirst of Olean, Sharon (Roger) Vincent of Texas and Anita Giardini of Olean; two brothers Ronnie Giardini of Salamanca and Jerry (Carolyn) Giardini of Allegany; former wife and close friend Robin Chandler of Allegany; two sisters-in-law Linda Giardini of Roundo, SC and Patricia Giardini of Olean and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by two brothers Thomas Giardini and Victor Giardini. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Tuesday (May 2, 2012) from 2pm until time of services at 3pm. Rev. Phillip Palutyro of Bradford, PA will officiate. Burial will be in Allegany Cemetery.
