Obituary of Sheryll Miranda

Sheryll D. "Sheri" Miranda Loving mother, grandmother and daughter Allegany, NY-- Sheryll D. "Sheri" Miranda of 110 E. Main St. passed away unexpectedly Tuesday (March 13, 2012) in her home. Born April 9, 1956 in Dunkirk, NY she was the daughter of Duane and Marilyn Smith McKinney. Sheri had worked for many years as a self employed sign painter in Ellicottville and also worked there as an Emergency Medical Technician and for Holiday Valley and Holimont. More recently she had been employed as a home health care worker for Homecare and Hospice in Olean. Her interests were in art, drawing and photography where she expressed natural artistic abilities. She also loved photography, especially taking pictures and videos. She was best described as a free spirit and a kind, giving person whose laughing, great sense of humor and bubbly personality endeared her to many and who will now be sadly missed by all. Surviving besides her parents of Great Valley are two children Suzannah M. Miles of Allegany and Jeffrey A. (Anne) Miles, II of Olean; four grandchildren Alexis, Joshua, Bret and Austin; one sister Patricia (Theodore) Robinson, Sr. of Salamanca; two brothers Brandon (Cynthia) McKinney of Minnesota and Michael (Cindy) McKinney of Florida and several nieces and nephews. Private funeral services will be held at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Saturday (March 17, 2012). Burial will be in Allegany Cemetery.
