Obituary of Mary Giardini Deibler

Olean-- Mary I. Giardini Deibler of 438 N. 10th Street, Olean, passed away Sunday (January 15, 2012) at the Pines Health and Rehabilitation Center in Olean. Born March 17, 1915 in Angelica, NY, she was the daughter of Anthony and Virginia Levis Giardini. On November 9, 1963 at the former First Methodist Church in Olean, she married Richard E. Deibler, who predeceased her January 13, 2011. Mrs. Deibler was raised in Vandalia and lived there until her marriage where she moved to North 10th Street in Olean. She was employed as a housekeeper for many years prior to retiring. Along with her husband she enjoyed traveling. Family members include five children Rita Wilber, Jim (Kim) Wilber, Sabrina Wilber and Peggy Wilber all of Olean; and John (Darlene) Wilber of Little Genesee; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister Margaret Horning of Olean; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by three sisters Louise Wilson, Annie Giardini, and Joanne Argento; and six brothers Mayo, John, Charles, Gilio, Joseph and Paul Giardini. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (January 18, 2012) at 10 am at the funeral home. Rev. Gregory Dobson, pastor of St. Mary of the Angels Church will officiate. Burial will be at St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
