Marjorie L. See Hinsdale, NY Marjorie L. See of Underwood Manor, formerly of Hardscramble Rd. died Wednesday (December 21, 2011) in the Olean General Hospital after a long illness. Born August 15, 1938 she was the daughter of Harold and Kathryn Peters Taylor. She was also the stepdaughter of June Taylor. On January 5, 1957 in Hinsdale she married William C. "Bill" See who predeceased her December 15, 2003. Mrs. See was raised in Cuba, NY and was a graduate of Allegany Central School. She had been a homemaker all of her life where she devoted herself to raising a family, cultivating friendships and spending time expressing herself with crafts and artwork. Surviving are five children Catherine (Tom) Springs of Mount Holly, NC, Terri (Chuck) Magee of Hinsdale, William (Betsy) See of Hinsdale, Kimberley (Randy) Cassidy of Allegany and Amy (Dustin) Croft of Wellsville; fourteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; two sisters Laura Antico of Jamestown, Nancy Emerson of Belmont; one brother Leonard (Beverly) Blakeslee of Weston's Mills; one sister and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her parents, her stepmother and a brother Robert Taylor. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Friday (December 23, 2011) from 10:00am until time of services at 11:00am. Rev. Richard Young, pastor of the Ischua Union Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Five Mile Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Ischua Fire Department.
