Anthony Venezia Great Valley, NY Anthony Venezia, 75, of 5558 Sugartown Rd. died peacefully Saturday (December 10, 2011) in the Bradford Manor after a battle with Parkinson's disease. Born June 5, 1936 in Buffalo, NY he was the son of Rocco and Agnes Grandich Venezia. He was married to the former Patricia J. Saskowski who predeceased him January 25, 2011. Mr. Venezia was a graduate of Bishop Timon High School in Buffalo and worked as a draftsman for Westinghouse in Buffalo. He was transferred to their Asheville, NC facility in 1978 and retired from there to reside in Great Valley. He was a member of Holy Name of Mary Church in Ellicottville, the National Rifle Association and he was an avid hunter. He also was a garden enthusiast. Surviving are one daughter Donna (Rick) Conalungo of Allegany; one son Rocco (Patricia) Venezia of Canandaigua; five grandchildren; one great grandson; one brother Chuck "Butchy" (Margie) Venezia of Florida; one sister Janice (Leonard) Capizzi of East Aurora and several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation. A memorial burial service will be scheduled at a later date at the mausoleum in Holy Cross Cemetery in Lackawanna.
