Leonard Fricano Olean, NY Leonard Fricano of 3617 Five Mile Rd. died Thursday (July 21, 2011) in the Olean General Hospital with his family and friends by his side. Born March 25, 1949 in Buffalo, NY he was the son of Marion P. and Doris Goss Fricano. Mr. Fricano had attended the Life Skills program at the ReHabilitation Center. Leonard had a fall as a child which caused a traumatic brain injury that kept him in the mindset of a child. He loved eating and talking about food, coloring and playing with a ball. Surviving are four sisters Faye (Edward) Kelly of Brockton, Janet Fricano of Fort Lee, NJ, Debbie (Bryant) Snider of Olean and Marilynn Majewski of Buffalo; one brother Ron Fricano of Hawaii and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers Paul Ertell and George Ertell; two sisters Lois Coltone and Carol Joyce. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Monday (July 25, 2011) from 10:00am until noon at which time funeral services will be held. Burial will be in Mt. View Cemetery, Olean. Memorials may be made to The ReHabilitation Center 1425 Buffalo Rd. Olean, NY 14760.
