Obituary of Scott Jedrosko

Scott Michael Jedrosko Olean, NY Scott Michael Jedrosko, 29, of Olean died unexpectedly Thursday (June 9, 2011) in the Buffalo VA Medical Center. Born June 17, 1981 in Olean, NY he was the son of John R. and Sharon C. Uderitz Jedrosko. Scott was a graduate of Olean High School and soon after he joined the U. S. Army in 1999. He served numerous tours in Kosovo, Afghanistan and Iraq. He also served a tour with Black Water. He had a heart for the plight of veterans returning from war, both past and present. Two of his favorite things in life were his 2006 Pontiac GTO with Lamborghini doors and his german shepherd "Blake". Surviving are his parents of Olean; a sister Suzanne M. Jedrosko (2nd Lt USAF); his wife Erin Jedrosko and a son Dylan Scott Jedrosko. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Wednesday (June 15, 2011) from 6 to 7:30pm. Funeral services will begin at 7:30pm in the funeral home followed by full military honors being accorded by members of the Allegany American Legion Ritual Team. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the OEF/OIF (Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom) Fund at the VA Medical Center, 3495 Bailey Ave. Buffalo, NY 14215. Most importantly of all, take the time to say hi to a vet and ask them how they are doing.
