Obituary of Scott Muehlnickel

Allegany-- Scott E. Muehlnickel, of 2307 Five Mile Road Allegany, and a former resident of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away unexpectedly Friday (May 20, 2011) . Born February 15, 1969 in Olean, he was the son of Gerald and Phyllis Hitchcock Muehlnickel. Mr. Muehlnickel was a graduate of Olean High School and an avid bowler. For many years prior to moving back to this area, he was the manager of the Dollar Tree in Jacksonville Florida. Surviving are one son Tyler Muehlnickel of Florida , a daughter Cassandra McCarthy of Florida, two sisters Raelyn (Richard) King of Arcade, Amie Muehlnickel of Arcade; one brother Michael (Lucy) Hitchcock of Florida; three nieces; one nephew; several aunts and uncles; his girlfriend Rebecca Gilbert and her four children Cory, Rick, Tayler and Karissa. He was predeceased by his parents and many aunts and uncles. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Road on Wednesday (May 25, 2011) from 6-7pm at which time funeral services will begin. Thomas Hatch will officiate. Memorials if desired may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
