Obituary of Beatrice Robertson

Beatrice "Beatty" Brehm Robertson Allegany, NY Beatrice "Beatty" Robertson of 4960 Route 417 died Monday (April 4, 2011) shortly after arrival at Olean General Hospital. Born November 21, 1932 in Olean she was the daughter of Edward and Caroline A. Kane Brehm. On July 3, 1958 she married O. G. Robertson who predeceased her February 16, 2004. Mrs. Robertson was employed years ago for the former Hi-Q (now Olean Advanced Products) and was a homemaker most of her life. She was a life member and past president of the Olean VFW Post 1619 Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed league bowling, playing euchre and crocheting. She was a former Sunday school teacher at the Methodist church in Allegany. Surviving are five children James (Roma "Kathy") Robertson of Virginia Beach, VA, Carol Robertson of Allegany, Owen (Lishia) Robertson of Coudersport, PA, Paula (John) Miller of Olean and Cindy (Randy) Blake of Olean; an adopted son Aaron "Robbie" (Ashley) Robertson of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; eight grandchildren Katie, Scott, Jessica, Christina, Amber, Sean, Shane, Mara; eight step grandchildren Jennifer and Chris Cleveland, John, Josh and Jessie Miller and Amber, Randy, Jr. and Ashley Blake; nine grandchildren, including Jonathon and Jack and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by seven sisters and two brothers. There will be no visitation. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service to be held Saturday (April 9, 2011) at 11:00am at the Allegany First Presbyterian Church on N. 3rd St. . Burial will follow at Allegany Cemetery.
