Obituary of Cora Meacham

Olean- Cora R. Meacham, formerly of 1111 Washington Street, passed away Friday (February 25, 2011) at the Absolut of Salamanca, after a long illness. Born January 13, 1925 in West Clarksville, she was the daughter of Leon H. and Nina M. Thornton Stoddard. On December 31, 1959 in Eldred, PA, she married Roy Meacham, who survives. Mrs. Meacham was a housekeeper and babysitter in this area. She was a former member of Masten Park Baptist Church in Buffalo and a former member of the Allegany Baptist Church. Surviving besides her husband is a son George A. Gray of Salamanca and a daughter Katherine Dulasnski of Salamanca; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 3 sisters Ruth Osgood, Reva Gilliland of Bolivar, Jennie Keeton of Newcomerstown, OH; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Michael Meacham and 2 grandchildren Brian and Rowena Gray. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home on Monday from 1-3pm at which time funeral services will begin. Dr. Anthony Evans will officiate. Burial will be in Allegany Cemetery. Memorials if desired may be made to the American Cancer Society, Marie Lorenz Dialysis Center or to the Allegany Baptist Church. <h3>Visitation</h3> Monday February 28, 2011 1-3pm <h3>Services</h3> Monday 3pm <h3>Interment</h3> Allegany Cemetery
