Robert A. Reid
Harrisburg, PA�"Robert A. Reid, formerly of Bradford, died Saturday (January 29, 2011) in the Harrisburg Hospital after a short illness.
Born March 3, 1949 in Olean, NY he was the son of Franklin James and Gertrude Elizabeth Simon Reid.
Mr. Reid was raised in Bradford and was a sports fan, especially of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He enjoyed the times he spent with his family.
Surviving are one sister Jane (Bob Simpson) Reid of Allegany; five brothers James (Barbara) Reid. Wayne M. Reid, William H. Reid, Thomas (Gail) Reid and Michael S. Reid, all of Bradford and several nieces and nephews, especially Laura Chase and her girls.
He was predeceased by one brother Gary D. Reid.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service to be held Friday (February 4, 2011) at 2:00pm at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean. Rev. Russell Maine will officiate. Burial will be in Willowdale Cemetery, Bradford, PA. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
