Obituary of Marcia Baney

Marcia Jean Wilber Baney Adrian, MO Marcia Jean Wilber Baney, 57, a native of Allegany, passed away Monday (November 15, 2010) in the Adrian Manor. Born August 22, 1953 in Allegany, NY she was the daughter of Duane and Patricia Forness Wilber. On November 29, 1985 she married Troy Baney who survives. Mrs. Baney was raised in Allegany having graduated from Allegany High School and was employed as a Certified Nurses Aide and as a Home Healthcare Aide. She continued her career as an Aide after moving to Adrian. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister who will be remembered by family and friends as a personable woman and a country girl at heart. Surviving besides her husband are 2 children Daniel Baney and Maria Baney, both of Adrian; 1 sister Cindy L. Schoonover of Falls Creek, PA; 2 brothers Mark D. Wilber of Allegany and Jeff P. Wilber of Waterville, ME and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a sister Brenda A. Wilber on June 14, 1963. A celebration of Marcia's life will be held Saturday (November 27, 2010) at her home in Adrian at 1:00pm. A memorial service will be held in Allegany at a later date.
