Obituary of Joyce Moshier

Joyce A. Moshier Allegany, NY- Joyce A. Moshier of 2204 N. Nine Mile Rd. died Saturday (September 4, 2010) in the Olean General Hospital. Born March 21, 1946 in Olean, NY she was the daughter of John A. and Donna Hull Pecone, Sr. Mrs. Moshier was a lifelong resident of the Olean area and graduated from Olean High School. She enjoyed raising her family and also did crafts, especially ceramics and silk flower arranging. She also loved her family pets over the years. Surviving besides her mother of Olean are 3 sons John M. Moshier, Jay Moshier and Jim (Stacy) Moshier, all of Allegany; 8 grandchildren; 1 brother John (Madelaine) Pecone, Jr. of Lyndonville and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her father on February 10, 1959. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service to be held Wednesday (September 8, 2010) at 11:00am in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the SPCA 2944 Olean Hinsdale Rd. Olean, NY 14760. Arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean.
