Obituary of Beverly Kloc

Olean, NY-- Beverly J. Kloc of 1414 Haskell Parkway Extension passed away Wednesday (March 24, 2010) at the Buffalo General Hospital after a long illness, while surrounded by her family. Born April 15, 1947 in Olean, NY she was the daughter of Lloyd and Margaret Franz Howard. On June 6, 1970 at St. Mary of the Angels Church in Olean, she married Joseph Kloc who survives. Mrs. Kloc was a graduate of Olean High School and Alfred Tech (now Alfred State College). She was employed by the C.I.A. in Washington D.C. and then later as a library aide at Portville and Olean Schools. She was a member of the former Transfiguration Church and more recently St. John's Church in Olean. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, needlepoint and she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving besides her husband are 2 children Laurie (Kevin) Donahue of Shelby Township, MI, Chris (Cheryl) Kloc of Portville; 4 grandsons Matthew Donahue and Joshua Donahue, Colin Kloc and Nathan Kloc; 4 brothers Tom (Linda) Howard, Roger (Cathy) Howard, Dan (Barbara) Howard, Mike (Dina) Howard; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Road Olean on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday (March 27, 2010) beginning with a 9:30 prayer service at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in the Transfiguration Oratory. Fr. Barry Allaire will be the Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
