ROSE M. OZOGAR "Loving Mother and Grandmother" OLEAN - Rose M. Ozogar, a resident of the Pines Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, died Friday April 25, 2003. Born in Olean on August 27, 1913 she was a daughter of John and Anna Martin Washington. In 1934 she married John Ozogar who predeceased her in 1965. Mrs. Ozogar was a member of St. Mary of the Angels Church. She was employed at St. Bonaventure University. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She is survived by one son, Victor Ozogar of Olean, two brothers, Michael Washington of Olean and Stephen Washington of Cleveland, OH; five grandchildren, Edward (Samantha) Ozogar of El Paso, TX, Sandra Ozogar of Charlotte, NC, Sherry (Calvin) Weeks, Michael (Laura) Ozogar, Victor W. (Tami) Ozogar, all of Olean, 11 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by four brothers, Andrew, John, George and Joseph Washington; and two sisters, Mary Weldon and Helen Washington. Friends will be received on Sunday April 27, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Rd., Olean. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday April 28, 2003 beginning with a prayer service at the funeral home at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Rev. Gregory Dobson, pastor of St. Mary of the Angels Church will officiate. Burial and committal services will follow at St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Pines Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center or to St. Mary of the Angels Church.
