Hinsdale-- Michael J. Keim of 897 Rte 446, passed away Tuesday (July 14, 2009), at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo, after a brief illness. Born September 26, 1950, in Olean, he was the son of Leo &amp;quot;Ken&amp;quot; and Rita Stomierosky Keim. On September 25, 1976, at St. John the Baptist Church in Vandalia, he married Julie Rogers, who survives. Mr. Keim was a graduate of Alfred State University. He had currently been employed at Olean Advanced Products. Mr. Keim was an avid fan of the New York Yankee's. He also loved spending time with closest buddy, his dog "Pepper". Surviving besides his wife of 32 years; are his mom of Allegany; 2 sons Nate (Erinne Metler) Keim of Allegany, Matt Keim at home; 2 sisters Joyce (Ray) Jonak of Allegany, Kathy (Tim) Outman of Gainsville, FL; a half sister Connie Della Pietra of Palmyra, VA; 1 brother Ken (Bonnie) Keim of Brockport, NY; his mother-in-law Margaret Rogers of Olean; 2 sisters-in-law Romayne (Tom) Gilbert of Belgium Germany, Mary (Rick) Carls of Allegany; 2 brothers-in-law Dave (Barb) Rogers of Olean, Tom (Laura) Rogers of Allegany; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his father, he was predeceased by his father-in-law David P. Rogers and a brother-in-law Larry Rogers. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Road, Friday from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday (July 18, 2009) at 10am at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Memorials if desired may be made to Mercy Hospital of Buffalo 565 Abbott Road, Buffalo NY 14220, the SPCA 2944 Olean-Hinsdale Rd. Olean NY 14760, or to the charity of the donor's choice. <h3>Visitation</h3> Friday July 17, 2009 6-8pm <h3>Services</h3> Saturday July 18, 2009 10am at the funeral home. <h3>Interment</h3> St. Bonaventure Cemetery
