Obituary of LaRue S. Vossler

LaRue S. Vossler Allegany-- !LaRue S. Vossler, formerly of Allegany, and a 4 year resident of Absolut of Salamanca, passed away Saturday (December 6, 2008) at the Olean General Hospital, after a brief illness. Born May 24, 1925 in Bradford PA, she was the daughter of John J. and Katherine Young Cramer. On July 2, 1947 in Bradford, PA, she married Donald Vossler, who predeceased her on February 10, 1981. Mrs. Vossler was a graduate of Bradford High School, and attended the Bradford School of Nursing. She enjoyed camping, traveling and listening to Country Music. She had been employed by Arch Bishop Walsh High School and later for the Allegany- Limestone School District as a bus driver. Surviving are 2 daughters Judith (Victor) Rabatory of Allegany, Carol Vossler of Allegany; a son Wayne (Betty) Vossler of Rochester; 3 grandchildren Anne Ashcraft, Edward Vossler and Eric Vossler; 3 great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband she was predeceased by 1 brother Herbert Cramer and 1 sister Maxine !McCutucheon. Private funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 9, 2008 at Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Memorials if desired can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
