Obituary of Frank M. Vigliotti

Frank M. Vigliotti, Sr. “Loving father and grandfather” Allegany, NY—Frank M. Vigliotti, Sr. of 1440 Four Mile Rd. Lot 16 died Thursday (November 22, 2007) in the Olean General Hospital. Born December 19, 1938 in Salamanca, NY he was the son of William A. and Julia Rivetti Vigliotti. Mr. Vigliotti was a Salamanca native and later resided in Rochester and New Jersey prior to moving to Allegany in 2001. He was a veteran of the US Army and worked at several jobs. Most recently he owned and operated S & R Sub Shop in Wall, NJ. He was devoutly faithful to daily prayer and had an abiding love of God. He cared immensely for the well being of animals and often kept dogs which were rescued from animal shelters. His family, friends and all who knew him will miss his loving and caring nature. Surviving are 1 daughter Gina M. (Gyula Kalapacs) Brown of Forked River, NJ; 1 son Frank M. (Tammy Malone) Vigliotti, Jr. of Brick, NJ; 4 grandchildren David Vigliotti, Frank Vigliotti, III, Raymond Brown and Sabrina Brown; 1 great grandson David Vigliotti; 1 brother William (Bobbi) Vigliotti of Idaho; several nieces and nephews and 2 cousins Jim (Brenda) Rivetti of Olean and Roseanne (Daniel) Haynoski of Gowanda. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-8pm. Funeral services will follow at 8pm in the funeral home and will include a military tribute by the Allegany American Legion. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
