Luella Moran, a resident of The Pines of Olean in recent years, passed away February 24, 2024 at Olean General Hospital. Born February 26, 1932 in Lacona, she was the daughter of Efram Anson and Lillian Stacy Carnrite. She was married to Al Moran who predeceased her in 2003. Luella spent a number of years living in Angola where she was a school bus driver for the Lake Shore Central School District. She was the mother of 1 son James Mason who predeceased her, and 2 daughters, Mary Lou Caniglia of Brunswick, OH, and Janet Waring of Cattaraugus. She also leaves behind a sister, Mary Mason of Oswego, and a nephew. A funeral service will be held Thursday (March 7, 2024) at 11am in the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Rd., Olean. Burial will be in the family plot in Woodlawn Cemetery, Sandy Creek.
