Obituary of Frank E. Glover, Jr.

Frank E. Glover, Jr. Olean, NY Frank E. Glover, Jr., 58, passed away Monday (August 7, 2023) at Millard Fillmore Hospital in Amherst after a recent illness. Born February 21, 1965 in Olean, he was one of six children born to Frank E. and Clara M. Lippert Glover, Sr. Frank was raised in Olean and spent most of his adulthood residing on E. Riverside Drive. In 1986 he proudly received his certificate of education through the IEP program at Olean High School. He worked for a while at SubCon Industries in Olean and more recently enjoyed attending Intandem’s DayHab program. For the last number of years, he had been living under the care of his brother and sister-in-law, Norm and Mary Glover in Portville where he continued to attend the DayHab program and enjoy a routine daily life with his family. It was only in the past 9 months that he needed the extra level of care as beautifully provided by the caring staff at Intandem in Niagara Falls. He loved many activities such as following the Buffalo Bills, watching television, especially wrestling and Westerns. He also loved the Looney Toones cartoon characters, going on picnics, and food. He most enjoyed spending time with his family. He leaves behind 4 siblings, Michael (Florence) Glover of Olean, Herman (Jamie) Glover of Rixford, Norm (Mary) Glover of Portville, and Jodi Baker of Rochester, and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a young brother, Frank Glover. The family will receive friends on Saturday (August 12, 2023) from 10am-11am at the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels in Olean. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11am in the church. Rev. Peter Bassey will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, may be made to Intandem, 1435 Buffalo St., Olean, NY 14760.
