Obituary of Sandra Jo Cleveland

Sandra Jo Cleveland Olean, NY Sandra Jo Cleveland, 68, of 128 S. 13th St., passed away Wednesday (March 29, 2023) at Buffalo General Hospital after a short illness. Born January 11, 1955 in Olean, she was the daughter of Leonard E. and Janet M. Wean Harris. On November 30, 1974 at Hillside Wesleyan Church in Olean, she married Robert W. Cleveland who survives. Sandra was a graduate of Portville Central School. She first worked for the former Acme Electric Co. in Allegany and later worked as a certified nurse’s aide for the Allegany Nursing Home for many years. Sandra was a loving, caring person and would do anything for others, especially her family. She enjoyed being home with them, and would spend her time watching television, especially sports events of all kinds. She was an avid San Francisco 49’ers fan. She also liked to do jigsaw puzzles. She loved her pet dogs, and “Lanie” was always with her on her frequent car rides. She leaves behind her loving husband of 48 years, Robert; 2 daughters Bobbie Jo (Steven) Sikes of Olean, and Amy Lynn (Norm Ras) Cleveland of Machias; 4 grandchildren Carrie (Brian), Cody, Chantel, and Elizabeth; 1 great granddaughter, Ava; 2 nieces Jennifer Margeson and Sandy Lundy; a nephew Christopher Cleveland, and a sister-in-law Jane (David Beverly) Freeman of Auburndale, FL. At Sandra’s request, no services are being planned. Burial will be private at Mt. View Cemetery, Olean. Arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean.
