Obituary of Vaughn A. Johnson

Vaughn A. Johnson York, PA Vaughn A. Johnson, 58, of 1125 Roosevelt Ave., passed away unexpectedly Thursday (January 7, 2021) at his residence. Born July 28, 1962 in Monessen, PA, he was the son of Edward and Doris "Jean" Johnson. Vaughn was raised in Buffalo and resided there much of his adult life. He had mostly been employed as a "jack of all trades" in the home improvement business. He was a fan of the Buffalo Bills, and all local sports, including the Bonaventure Bonnies. He also enjoyed the company of his family who meant so much to him, along with his daily phone calls with them. He is survived by his mother Doris of Buffalo; 5 children, including Laquia Johnson of Allegany and Tiffany Skopljak of Florida; several grandchildren; 4 siblings Jackie Johnson, Dawn Thomas, Eddie Johnson and Edna Johnson, all of Buffalo, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father in 2019, and a nephew Lamar Williams in 2006. No services are being scheduled at this time. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
