Debra M. Moyer

Olean, NY     Debra M. Moyer, 60, of 312 W. Green St., passed away peacefully Thursday (December 27, 2018).

Born February 20, 1958 in Olean she was the daughter of Charles and Lorena Ford Pratt.  She shared a 42-year loving relationship with John E. Tupper, Jr.  He passed away April 5, 2018.

Debra's family was everything to her and she enjoyed long talks on the phone with them, and, although hampered by blindness, loved crocheting blankets, especially to give to her grandchildren.  A special bond existed between her and her grandchild Levi and, having a shared birthday with her grandchild Angel was another joy in her life.  All of her family, and friends too, will remember her as having more than just a spunky attitude that was an endearing quality of hers.  She enjoyed going to bingo and listening to country music.

She missed her late Toy Chihuahua "Peanut" which was her pride and joy.

She is survived by her 2 daughters Megan (Jeremy Dwaileebe) Tupper of Olean and Jenny (Howard "Kurt" Smith) Moyer of Three Rivers, TX; 6 grandchildren Levi Otero, Leo Otero, Oasis Dwaileebe, Angel (Wesley) Braune, Brittany (Albert) Moreno and Howard Smith, Jr.; 2 great grandchildren Rebekah Braune and Clairabelle Moreno; 2 sisters Linda (Mike) Lewis of Smethport, PA and Judy (Jerry) Walter of North Carolina; a sister-in-law Terry Pratt of Shinglehouse, PA and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.  She was soon to be a great grandmother to another great granddaughter.

In addition to her loving companion John Tupper, Jr., she was predeceased by her parents; a daughter Tina Marie Tupper; brothers Chuck Pratt, Jr., Joseph Pratt, James Pratt and 2 infant brothers Timothy Pratt and George Pratt; an infant sister Cindy Pratt and her stepmother Agnes Ford Pratt.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a memorial visitation on Wednesday (January 2, 2019) from 6-8pm at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Rd. Olean. A service will begin at 8pm in the funeral home.
