Constance Ann "Connie" Roberts
Olean, NY Constance Ann "Connie" Roberts of 2135 Hastings Rd. passed away Sunday (March 25, 2018) at the Olean General Hospital.
Born November 18, 1944 in Olean she was the daughter of Hurlon T. and R. Della Clemons Armour. She was married to Samuel Roberts who survives.
Connie was a graduate of Olean High School and later attended BOCES. She had been employed as a nurse's aide at The Pines of Olean until her retirement.
She will be remembered as a prayerful woman, even more so a prayer warrior, with a kind word and concern for people of all walks of life. She most loved and enjoyed her family, especially any gatherings and cookouts where everyone was together.
Surviving besides her husband are 3 daughters Tracy Hart and Judy Armstrong, both of Olean and Tina Armour of Charlotte, NC; 6 grandchildren Tanessa, LeShawn, Terrick, Clarissa (Corey Bennett), Terrence and Tenisha; 4 great grandchildren Corey, Jr., Dredon, Harmony and Israella; 2 sisters Judith Wilson of Olean and Tammy Stoltz of Jamestown; a brother-in-law Joseph Spencer of Olean and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by 2 great grandchildren Christianae and Mareek; a sister Bertha Spencer; a brother Kenny Doman; and a son-in-law Kenneth Armstrong.
Friends are welcome to attend a visitation on Saturday (March 31, 2018) from 11am to 1pm at Epic Church on W. Henley St. in Olean. A memorial service will immediately follow at 1pm at the church.
