Obituary of Nancy A. Arnold

Olean, NY- Nancy A. Arnold, 90, passed away peacefully Friday (October 24, 2025) at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born January 21, 1935 in Olean, she was the daughter of Walter and Josephine Plewnarz Suda. On September 14, 1957 at St. Bonaventure Church in Allegany she married John B. "Jack" Arnold who predeceased her September 13, 2024 . Nancy was a 1952 graduate of Olean High School. Nancy's lifelong passion was taking care of her family and others in need. She filled her days by decorating, cooking, and volunteering at The Bridge thrift store. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church. Surviving besides her husband are 5 children, Denise (Max) Hayden of Chesapeake, VA, Nanette (Richard) Hogan of Amissville, VA, Sally (Michael) Manesiotis of Hilton Head, SC, Thomas (Michele) Arnold of Olean and John (Kristen) Arnold of Avon; 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 sisters, Dorothy Kosciol and Elizabeth Whitton. Friends are welcome to attend a memorial mass to be celebrated Saturday (November 8, 2025) at 10am at St. Bonaventure Church. A visitation will precede the mass from 9am until 10am at the church . Burial will be held privately at St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
