Obituary of Judy McNeil

Olean, NY- Judy A. McNeil, 78, passed away Wednesday (September 17, 2025) at Olean General Hospital after a long illness. Born February 6, 1947 in Rochester, she was the daughter of Beatrice Stagles. Judy worked for many years as a dietitian for The Pines in Olean. In her free time, she enjoyed crafts, watching NASCAR, and spending time with her kids and grandkids. Surviving are her children, Tina (Dave Tatum), Joseph (Wilma) McNeil, Tammy (Mike) Strade, Robert (Kimberly) Putt, Khrystal McNeil, all of Olean, and Nikolus Jurenko of PA; many siblings, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Elmer Ellis, Jr. and Judy’s companion, Paul Baker. Friends will be received on Sunday (September 21, 2025) from 10 am to noon at the Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Road, Olean. A memorial service will begin at noon. Burial will be in Allegany Cemetery.
