Obituary of Tracy S. Allen

Tracy S. Allen, 61, passed away unexpectedly on February 23, 2025, at his home in Belfast, New York. He was born on August 29, 1963, in Festus, Missouri, to Annitta Bass (née Wagley) and Jerry Allen. During his childhood, Tracy moved several times before settling in Connecticut, where he graduated from Bunnell High School in 1983. Over the years, he worked in various fields, with some of his most memorable positions being at Bobby Valentine's, Trumbull Printing, and Leed Himmel. Tracy was married to Diane Gazy (née Bazley) for 18 years, and together they had two children, Ethan Allen and Karissa Allen-Grant. Though he spent the last 14 years living in Texas, his greatest wish was to return to the Northeast to be closer to his daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter. With the support of his family, he was able to fulfill that wish and move to Belfast, New York, in early February. He had a passion for working with his hands and enjoyed watching *This Old House*. Recently, he rekindled his interest in constructing model cars. Tracy also had an eclectic taste in music and possessed an impressive knowledge of musicians and albums. He is lovingly remembered by his children, Ethan Allen and Karissa Allen-Grant (Geremy); granddaughter, Kinsley; parents, Jerry Allen (Betty) and Annitta Bass; brothers, Tommy, Richard (Ellen), Gerald, and Ray (Lisa); sisters, Debbie (Paul), Denise, Cindi, Angel (Eric), and Brigitte (Rickie); as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Kenneth. A Celebration of Life will be held on March 15, 2025, at The Elks Lodge in Naugatuck, Connecticut (758 Rubber Ave, Naugatuck, CT) from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
