Obituary of Dana Colley

Allegany, NY -Dana Colley, 69, passed away Saturday (February 15, 2025), at Olean General Hospital after a long illness. Born December 29, 1955, in Olean he was the son of Charles and Belva Phearsdorf Colley Jr. On September 14, 1998, in Cattaraugus, he married Lynn Wagner who survives. Dana was employed by Salco Fixtures as a cabinet maker for 18 years, and 13 years for Georgia Pacifica in Bradford, PA. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, snowmobiling, and attending to his stamp collection. He most enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially with his wife Lynn. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother David Colley of Arizona, a sister Dolores (George) Cole of Lewis Run, PA and his special nephews, Paul, John, and Joe and a special cousin Denise Skroback of Allegany He was predeceased by a brother Dale Colley and 2 sisters Darlene Henneman and Diann Colley. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Casey, Halwig, and Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Road, Olean. A funeral service will be held Sunday (February 23, 2025) at 2:30pm in the funeral home. Rev. Mark Chapman of the Allegany Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Allegany Cemetery.
