Mrs. Miller was, by far, my most favorite teacher at IJN #10 and my entire education. I've been thinking a lot about lately and just how loving, compassionate, understanding and patient she always was with me (especially patient as I was a precocious little snot and I'm not ashamed to admit it!). She always reminded me of my (grand)MOM in everything she did and said at a time when I needed that reassurance. The last time I saw Mrs (and Mr) Miller was in 2011 at an OHS Alumni weekend and, as I'm doing right now, broke into a sob. I had three teachers in elementary school that impacted me the most and Mrs. Miller was at the top. I am so incredibly grateful to Mrs. Miller for making me feel valued and smart enough to conquer any obstacle, at that time it was math (it was always math!). Thank you to her family for sharing your Mom, grandmother, aunt, daughter with me and all of her students. Please accept my sincerest condolences for your loss of both of your parents. Andria. We are sorry for your loss and feel a loss as we knew her and of her family from the day we met and she informed me she was my relative. I have been graced with pictures of her and her mother when she was a small child. I wish I could have gotten to know her better as she was that one part of my family history regrettably I missed. Our prayers to the family.

Prayers to family for your lost,she truly was the most loving and kindest person I have ever met.lt must have been a blessing to have her as your mother,grandmother. She was my 3rd grade teacher,and she love me,cared for me,I will never forget. Thank you GOD.for letting me have the honor to have known such a blessed person.

I am very sorry for your loss. Your mom was my second grade teacher in 1946-1947. I remember her being very kind and beautiful. I also knew your dad as well. I put the siding on their house years ago. May you find comfort knowing that your mom impacted so many students and families during her teaching career. God bless your entire family.
