Mrs. Miller was, by far, my most favorite teacher at IJN #10 and my entire education. I've been thinking a lot about lately and just how loving, compassionate, understanding and patient she always was with me (especially patient as I was a precocious little snot and I'm not ashamed to admit it!). She always reminded me of my (grand)MOM in everything she did and said at a time when I needed that reassurance. The last time I saw Mrs (and Mr) Miller was in 2011 at an OHS Alumni weekend and, as I'm doing right now, broke into a sob. I had three teachers in elementary school that impacted me the most and Mrs. Miller was at the top. I am so incredibly grateful to Mrs. Miller for making me feel valued and smart enough to conquer any obstacle, at that time it was math (it was always math!). Thank you to her family for sharing your Mom, grandmother, aunt, daughter with me and all of her students.
Please accept my sincerest condolences for your loss of both of your parents.
Andria. Third grade IJN #10.
