Obituary of Joan M. Bronold Hund

Olean, NY Joan Marie Bronold Hund passed away peacefully Thursday (January 14, 2021) in Allegany at age 88. Joan was born January 6, 1933 in Buffalo and grew up in Hamburg where was a homemaker. She moved in 1978 to the family cottage in Olean, Tinker's Roost, which has history of being a Brook Trout farm started by her grandfather. Joan loved being outdoors with her dogs and in the neighborhood with the friends there. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to many. She lived out her later years at Underwood Manor, and always looked forward to eating out with family. She is survived by her children Wende (David) Pyanowski, Clifford J. (Kimi) Hund and James Hund; 9 grandchildren Chad, Halley, Kris, Joseph (Samantha), Betsy (Reid), Mitchell (Athena), Melanie (Jeff), Tiffany (Billy) and Kippy; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sister Nancy (James) Greenlee; sister in law Bonnie Bronold; daughter in law Michelle Hund, cousins, nieces and nephews. She had many friends who made her life easier, especially the ones in the Hollow including Corrine, Carol, John, Kathy, John, and special ones Nicholas, Ashley and Kelsey. Joan is predeceased by her parents; brother Richard L Bronold; son Kim D Hund and granddaughter Hannah Hund. There will be a gathering to celebrate her life at a future date.
