Please share a memory of Erin to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Erin M. Billquist Olean, NY Erin M. Billquist, 38, of 1951 W. Fall Rd., passed away Friday (December 25, 2020) at the Olean General Hospital. Born July 30, 1982 in Jamestown, she was the daughter of Brett and Judith Billquist. Erin began her time with The ReHabilitation Center in Olean (now Intandem) at the age of 4 and endeared herself to her many caregivers over the years. She attended the Children’s Learning Center, Washington West Elementary and Olean High School, graduating in 2001. As a young girl she was a cheerleader for the South Olean Pony Football League and also participated in the Olean Challenger Softball League. In recent years she spent her days with her friends at Intandem’s Day Habilitation program in Allegany. Erin enjoyed dancing, watching musicals and being doted on by her caretakers. She loved “all things girlie”; having her hair done, manicures and wearing pink. She was loveable, funny and her big, brown, beautiful eyes spoke a million words. Her laughter was contagious and no one loved a good prank more than Erin. Those that loved her considered her their "Little Princess". In addition to her "family" of caregivers at Intandem, her other family members include her mother, her father and a sister, Shannon. She was predeceased by her grandparents Elizabeth and Bruce Aunkst. A graveside service will be held Monday (January 4, 2020) at 1pm at McKean Memorial Park, Lafayette, PA. Memorials, if desired, may be made to Intandem, 1439 Buffalo St., Olean, NY 14760. Arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean. Online condolences may be expressed at oleanfuneralhome.com.
