Mary, my friend and neighbor, I miss her so much. It's so hard looking at her house knowing she won't be coming home this time. When she moved to Limestone we hit it off as friends. There was a time we both had health issues that required using walkers. Mary and I would take walks side by side with our walkers. She was always ahead of me, even with a walker she walked a pretty good clip. We would sit on the porch in the summer and drink lemonade, when it was cold we'd sit and chat inside. We had a lot of laughs and talked about everything you could think of and some things you couldn't. We always hugged each other good bye, a love you and a little peck on the cheek. She liked doing things herself, her way. She was a feisty little Italian so much like my mom (deceased). She was like a piece of my mom still with me only in Mary's body. Week before she was hospitalized we talked of her decorating her beautiful Christmas tree and all the beautiful angel ornaments. I told her she might need help this year decorating it, but she said "I like to do it myself". I'll never look at an angel again without seeing and thinking of her. I'm so fortunate to have had her in my life, and I'll miss her terribly.
