We at Technology Commercialization Center are so sadden by this news. Harry was an outstanding professional and person. It was such a pleasure to work for him on technology needs of Dresser-Rand. We will miss him sorely. It was just a few days ago that we were talking with Harry about our latest technology searches for Dresser-Rand. He was excited about all the relevant information we had found. Our hearts are heavy with grief. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, of whom he was so proud.
Sincerely,
Friends at Technology Commercialization Center

So sad to read of Harry's unexpected passing. I saw him early mornings at the Olean YMCA, when he started his days with an early morning swim. After reading his obituary, what a well-liked and well-respected man he was! I knew he was a Dresser engineer but had no idea what he did - wow! I know how proud he was of his family. I was happy to have involvement with him on the YMCA's Annual Campaign. May he rest in peace and live on in your hearts.

Harry will be so much missed. We will never forget his generosity and passion. A personal memory of the former is when he offered for his kind daughters to babysit our little Emilie back in Olean: she didn't want to leave! An example of the latter which always lifted my spirits: how passionate and emotional his voice would get when speaking about engineering and the DATUM in particular. Our deepest condolences to the entire family.

Sue, Michelle and Sara,
I was so sorry to learn tonight of Harry's passing. He was just such a sweetheart. I always tried to get over to say hi whenever I visited Olean. He would regal me with stories of the girls and we always shared some laughs. He was brilliant at what he did, but more importantly he was brilliant at being a husband and dad to his family.
My heart breaks for you as I write this. I send you all my love.

I couldn't help notice that many of the condolences were from individuals who knew Harry through work. My sister's and I knew Harry in his formative years because we lived in the same neighborhood in North Olean. He was a childhood friend who did all normal kid stuff but you just knew he was advanced in his thinking. He had a wonderful relationship with his parents, he was kind and thoughtful with a good sense of humor. It doesn't surprise me that Harry was so well respected by his peers and that he had great achievements in his profession. RIP Harry and condolences to his family.

Harry was a gentleman in every way. We knew him best as a co-worker at the Front Street Service Store. He took the work there seriously, but it was always fun to work together. We even went for a ride together in my 65 Corvette!
Our sincere condolences to Boots (who also worked with us at the Service Store) and the rest of the family.

Dear Sue, girls, and the entire Miller family.
The members of the Clark and Dresser-Rand Office Retirees offer our deepest sympathies for your loss. Harry was a great guy. Virtually all of us worked with Harry and always enjoyed his honesty, humor, humility, and heart. He was a great engineer but, more important, a great person and friend. We were looking forward to his joining our group, and we will greatly miss that.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you now and always.

Sue, please accept Jude Ann's and my deepest condolences. Our hearts go out to you, the girls and your entire family. God bless you all.
Harry was not only a great husband and father, but a friend to everyone he met or worked with. He was a tremendous engineer, loved by colleagues and customers alike. I had the honor and privilege to have worked with him often, traveled with him, golfed with him, pulled for the Bills with him, and had a few drinks with him along the way. He was a dear friend to me, who I will miss greatly. Godspeed, Harry.
