Charles Leroy Knowlton, Jr.
Midland City, Alabama Charles Leroy Knowlton, Jr., 86, formerly of Portville, died Sunday (April 16, 2017) at his residence.
Mr. Knowlton moved to Midland City 10 years ago from Portville. He was a self-employed contractor who loved lawn work and small engine repair. He was fond of family gatherings and 4-wheeling with his family.
He is survived by his children Lauretta (Coy) Richardson of Elba, AL, Charles (Connie) Knowlton, III of Bolivar, Linda (Terry) Lowe of Midland City, AL, Gary (Bonnie) Knowlton of Allegany, David (Jessica) Knowlton of Midland City, AL, Sally (Kevin) Nutt of Cuba, Terri (Roy) Rogers of Allegany, Mary (Walt) Vaughn of Little Genesee and Beverly (Scott) Drum of Freeville; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; 2 sisters Mickey Learn and Sharon Burlingame and several nieces and nephews.
