We met Ron through our neighbors the Giallellas when we lived on Rushford Lake. He was a kind, friendly man who always had a pot of coffee brewing and time to sit for a visit on the deck of his meticulously maintained home. He loved to talk about the current book he was reading (always a hardcover!) and what he planned to read next. He gave me good advice on what perennials to plant and always offered cuttings from his.
