Vivian O'Donnell Loving Mother and Grandmother ALLEGANY - Vivian O'Donnell of North Third Street died Saturday June 29, 2002 at St. Joseph Manor, Olean. Born in Farmersville, NY on August 21, 1914 she was a daughter of Roy and Marie Bush Tarbell. On November 30, 1934 she married James R. O'Donnell who predeceased her November 12, 1988. Mrs. O'Donnell was formerly employed by St. Bonaventure University in domestic housekeeping. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Allegany where she also served as a member of the Ladies Guild. She had been a volunteer for Meals on Wheels as well as the Allegany Public Library for many years. She is survived by two daughters Mary Ann (Lynn) Lounsbury and Marie (Frank) Hall, both of Allegany; seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; one sister Catherine Cole of Franklinville and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by a daughter Sharon Leonard on August 10, 1997, six brothers and sisters including Gertrude Abbott, Helen Holmes, Dorothy Wolford, Myron G. Tarbell, Dana Baker and Nettie Tarbell. Friends will be received on Monday July 1, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Road, Olean where funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday July 2, 2002 at 11:00 AM. Dr. Anthony Evans will officiate in the absence of Rev. Ellsworth Jackson, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Allegany. Burial and committal will follow at Allegany Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Allegany, Memorial Fund or Project 2000 or to the Allegany Fire Department.
