"Loving husband, father, grandfather and brother"

Portville, NY     Larry M. McFall, 67, of 97 Brooklyn St. passed away peacefully Sunday (December 3, 2017) at the Cuba Memorial Hospital Medical Care Unit after a short but courageous battle with cancer.

Born February 23, 1950 in Olean he was the son of Refferee and Betty Main McFall.  On April 6, 1974 in Olean he married Deborah A. Cowles who survives.

Larry was a 1969 graduate of Bolivar Central School and then began employment with Dresser Rand in Olean, retiring in 2013.  He was a former member of the United Steelworker's Union Local 4601.  He was a true family man who enjoyed raising his family, and coaching his sons in their team sports.  He was also a Buffalo Bills fan and liked to attend dirt track racing and to watch NASCAR.

Surviving besides his wife are 2 sons Jeffrey McFall of Eldred, PA and Jess (Mary) McFall in Olean; 5 grandchildren Ashley Bennett, Shelby Bello, Justin McFall, Sara McFall and Carter McFall; 3 brothers Don (Beth) McFall and Dennis McFall, both of Olean and Tom McFall of Scio and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, and a sister-in-law Janet McFall.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 4-7pm at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State St. Olean.  Visitation will continue on Thursday (December 7, 2017) from 11am to noon at which time a funeral service will be held.  Minister Rick Price of the Church of Christ in Bradford will officiate.   Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Olean.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.  Online condolences may be expressed at oleanfuneralhome.com.
