Daniel R. Mohr, Sr.
Olean, NY Daniel R. Mohr, Sr, a native of Salamanca, passed away Monday (July 3, 2017) at home, after an extended illness.
Born March 9, 1952 in Salamanca he was the adopted son of Floyd and Ruth Mohr.
Daniel was raised in Salamanca and graduated from Salamanca High School. He held his own contracting business for over 30 years, working under the name of Dan Mohr Dry Walling. He enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, hunting and boating. He also attended many concerts over the years, including Woodstock.
He is survived by a daughter Charlotte R. (Kendrick) Hamilton of Centerville, VA; a son Daniel P. R. Mohr of Little Valley; 5 grandchildren Mercedes, Kendra, Kenneth, Kenzo and Kenzie; 1 great grandson Noah; a sister Karen Fox of Limestone and a brother Kalvin (Mary) Mohr of Limestone and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his adoptive parents he was predeceased by a son Daniel R. Mohr, Jr. in 1977.
There will be no visitation. A private service will be held at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean at the convenience of the family.
